How To Apply



Study program "Business Administration" study options:


Lectures take place in Riga (Lomonosova Street 4), on working days from 9:00 until 18:00


ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS AND SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION



To start studies at Riga Management College, the applicant must: 


   
1) fill out the application form on the website: https://mcollege.eu/apply-online



2) attach to the online application form copies of the following documents in PDF or JPG format:



     
- document certifying secondary education;



       - passport or identity card;



       - if the student has previously completed education at another university, the student can submit an academic reference (transcript of records) for


matching the study courses.



3) Riga Management College examines the electronically received application within 5 working days and contacts the applicant to inform about admission


and study payment procedure.

                                                                                                          PAYMENT FOR STUDIES




- Payment for studies is made according to the price list approved by Riga Management College (see section "INFORMATION" - "DOCUMENTS").



- The applicant pays the registration fee.



- Foreign citizens pay a study security deposit (500 EUR).



- Payment for studies is made every year according to the payment schedule specified in the study contract.

Registration Fees


After the initial assessment of the documents, the College issues the registration fee invoice in order to proceed with the application.


Registration fee is 300 EUR (Application fee is non-refundable and you will need to cover the costs of any bank charges incurred.). Online application is processed once the registration fee has been received.


For faster service, candidates are welcome to send the receipt of the application fee payment to the e-mail info@managementcollege.eu.


Application for studies is open all year long, but please check below the information about deadlines for each semester.


Application deadlines for Spring semester (studies start in February):

  • November 1st – for applicants who need a visa
  • January 25th – for applicants who do not need a visa


Application deadlines for Autumn semester (studies start in September):

  • July 1st – for applicants who need a visa
  • July 30th – for applicants who do not need a visa


Final application examination


After the successful payment of the registration fee, the student is requested to take an online English test, which is sent via online application system or by e-mail within 2–3 working days, and a Skype interview.


After the test and Skype interview have been passed, the educational documents are submitted to the Academic Information Center (the assessment takes around 30-35 days). Meanwhile, a student starts preparing the documents for Visa and residence permit process:

  • Application form for a residence permit request
  • 3 photos (3×4 size)
  • Bank statement with the indicated amount of 6500 EUR
  • Make sure that your bank statement has a stamp, signature, your name, date of birth, passport number and CREDIT CARD NUMBER.
  • Police clearance certificate (not older than 6 months); if you have been living in another country for more than 12 months, police clearance statement also has to be provided from this country. Police clearance statement has to be legalized with apostille**
  • Educational documents (YOUR EDUCATIONAL CERTIFICATES AND MARK SHEETS) – legalized with Apostille**
  • If you have changed your name – Affidavit Copy with Apostille
  • If you have references from previous jobs, it is a big advantage for a positive decision.

At this point the AIC statement is ready. After a positive AIC decision, the student will have to make a 1-year tuition fee payment and security deposit payment to the college after which, they will receive their study contract.


Please note that the security deposit of 500 EUR is paid back to a student upon successful completion of a whole 2 year course only.


The College issues the visa support file with an invitation number once the tuition fee has been paid. The student contacts the Embassy of Latvia to provide the invitation and arrange an interview.

When a student arrives in Latvia, he/she submits the original documents to obtain the residence permit, visits the study department (in Lomonosova street 4, room 208), signs the study agreement and starts his/her studies.


Throughout the whole process, an applicant can contact College and College provides assistance and support with the documentation preparation and guides him/her through all the steps until the status of a student has been finally obtained.
