Level 10-point system Meaning Explanation Approx. ECTS grade

Very high level

10 with distinction Knowledge, skills and competences correspond to and exceeds the requirements of the study course, a student has acquired knowledge and skills on such level that he is able to independently use study contents for the acquisition of new knowledge and solving creative tasks. A
9 excellent Knowledge, skills and competences correspond to the requirements of the study course, a student is able to solve the corresponding problems, substantiate and logically argue an idea, distinguish and explain regularities. A
High level 8 very good Knowledge, skills and competences correspond to the requirements of the study course, in the basic issues of the study contents expresses personal attitude more at the level of finding than of analysis. B
7 good Knowledge, skills and competences correspond to the requirements of the study course, but sometimes the inability to independently use the knowledge acquired is detected. C
Medium level 6 almost good Knowledge, skills and competences correspond to the requirements of the study course, sometimes a student lacks the in-depth understanding of a problem, unable to validly apply knowledge in practice, but can use knowledge and skills according to the model. D
5 satisfactory Knowledge, skills and competences partly correspond to the requirements of the study course, lack of competence in applying knowledge to practice. E
4 almost satisfactory Knowledge corresponds to minimum study course requirements. E/FX
Low level 3 poor Superficial knowledge about the most important principal problems of the study course. Fail

1 very very poor The course basic information is not acquired completely. No understanding about the basic problems of the study course.

Degree of achieved study results is assessed by 10-point degree system or PASS/FAIL. The examination/ test is considered to be successful, i.e. a student receives credit points for a study course, if the evaluation is not lower than 4.
